Memory Support App ("we", "our", or "the App") is designed to help people with dementia connect with their loved ones through photos and videos. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of those you care for.

Information We Collect

The App collects and stores the following information locally on your device:

• Photos: Images of family members and caregivers that you add to the App
• Videos: Introduction videos that you record or select for each person
• Names: Names you assign to each person in the App
• PIN: A 4-digit PIN used to protect the setup area (stored securely in your device's Keychain)

How Your Data Is Stored

• Local Storage: All photos, videos, and personal information are stored locally on your device.
• iCloud Sync (Optional): If you have iCloud enabled, your data may be synced across your Apple devices using your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted and only accessible by you.
• No External Servers: We do not operate any external servers. Your data never passes through our systems.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal information to any third parties. Your data stays on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account.

Data Security

• Your PIN is stored securely using iOS Keychain encryption
• iCloud data is encrypted using Apple's security standards
• The App does not transmit data to any external servers

Your Rights - Data Deletion

You have the right to delete all your data at any time:

• Open the App and tap the Settings (gear) icon
• Enter your PIN
• Scroll down and tap "Delete All Data"
• Confirm deletion

This will permanently remove all photos, videos, names, and your PIN from the device. If you use iCloud sync, you may also need to remove data from your other devices.

Children's Privacy

This App is designed to be used by caregivers of people with dementia. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Camera and Photo Library Access

The App requests access to:

• Camera: To take photos and record videos of family members
• Photo Library: To select existing photos and videos
• Microphone: To record audio in introduction videos

These permissions are used solely within the App and data is not shared externally.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
